Description: High Altitude steam distillation of the dried drooping white petalled flowerheads of the Matricaria Chamomile species. Oil varies in colour from Green / Blue to dark Blue. Also known as German Chamomile since in years past, the cultivated plant was grown and harvested in Hungary, and distilled in Germany.
Pure and Genuine German Blue Chamomile Essential Oil Certified Organic by the Soil Association. Our current stock is sourced from Egypt. Nepalese material is often quite Green/Blue in colour, compared to Egyptian.
Suggestions for Use: Distilled Essential oil of Matricaria recutica from Egypt, also known as German chamomile, this oil is rich in chamazulene, a soothing and anti-inflammatory compound. Add to skin creams and lotions.

Shelf Life - Our essential oils all have a shelf life in excess of 12 months. However, as with any essential oil we recommend using it within 12 months of opening
