   Nasomatto Black Afghano

   I havent smelt the original though I have smelt Perfume Parlours version which ,according to some reviewers on Youtube, smells identical (probably 90% truth be told) with a distinct hashish note. This version however is a different take very similar to Al Rehabs Sultan Al Oud (not the silver one which is just called Sultan). This version goes the smooth, sweet, and safe route. I smell: Salted caramel, buttery sandalwood, sweet pipe tobacco, peppery/burny oud (adds a touch of sharp heat), and a little woody incense.

   Honestly I was quite disappointed with this one. The smell is very pleasant however lacks personality in my opinion, which is sad since the original gets such praise for that very thing and I was hopeing it would outdo Perfume Parlour’s semi-weak/dull version; that together with it not lasting very long. I suspect those who like soft sweet gourmand scents will be very pleased with this one and it may last longer on their skin.
