Davidoff Cool Waters
When I first tried this I thought it was a dud. There is this phase where it smells a little chemically and muddled in the beginning however that fades after around 15 minutes and low and behold it actually transforms into Cool Waters. It smells very close to the original which is an huge achievement since every single other copy Ive tried of Cool Waters smells 50%, and Ive tried about 20. There is a slight chemical smell that remains from the first application though with all the other goodness going on its barely noticable. Sadly it doesnt last more than 4 hours on my skin before becoming mainly a skin scent and seems to thin out, losing its depth and making the chemical note stand out a little more. I think that since it smells so good its worth revising/reformulating to give it that extra strength and richness that would make it a fantastic fragrance. I happen to be a huge fan of Cool Waters, the fragrance that got me into fragrances, and even the original has a slight chemical smell when it ages on the skin (the modern one anyway) so if a copy could be made that addresses that and amps up the strength I and the many other fans would be over the moon.
