Traditional Uses – One of the most useful oils for the respiratory system, Inula helps to break up mucus and deepen the breathing. It may also help to heal ear, nose and throat infections.

Appearance – In the past we have offered a beautiful deep green Inula oil. The green colour comes from distillation in a copper still. Molecules of copper bond to molecules of essential oil giving the familiar green colour.  Alternatively, our golden Inula oil has the same properties and is just as effective.

Organic Certificate – This essential oil is certified organic by the Soil Association which means you can be sure that it has been produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards. The Soil Association’s standards exceed the UK government’s minimum requirements for organic products in many areas, but particularly in animal welfare, GM and the use of pesticides. Standards are constantly reviewed to ensure they deal with current issues.

Shelf Life - Our essential oils all have a shelf life in excess of 12 months. However, as with any essential oil we recommend using it within 12 months of opening
