Our mate absolute, derived from the Ilex paraguariensis shrub of South America, commonly known as “yerba mate,” is cultivated in Brazil. Traditionally harvested from the wild, maté is now cultivated in southern Brazil and Argentina. This natural extract is valued in perfumery for its fruity aromas and notes of tea and tobacco, ideal for fresh cologne compositions with good longevity. Mate absolute also adds fruity flavors to beverages and teas, with hints of hay, flowers, honey, and tobacco.

This product has a pasty texture. To facilitate its use, gentle heating is recommended depending on its consistency:
• For pasty products or those that are difficult to handle at room temperature, you can either heat them slightly (e.g., in a water bath or dry oven) or use them directly with suitable utensils, such as spatulas.
Avoid exposing the product to high temperatures (do not exceed 40°C) to preserve all its natural properties. Once warmed or prepared, ensure you use clean utensils for transferring or applying it.
