Oakmoss Absolute has a long history of use as an ingredient in Fine Fragrance creation. Our Oakmoss Absolute is a thick viscous to solid ingredient which is dark Green in colour, while quite concentrated with a full bodied aroma and significantly reduced Atranol content to comply with IFRA guidelines.

Oakmoss is a species of lichen found in forests in many locations in the northern hemisphere including North America and Central Europe. A dark green colour. It grows on the trunk and branches of oak trees and can also be found on other deciduous trees. With a strong top note, and mossy base notes, this essential oil is often used in high class
perfumes

Shelf Life - Our essential oils all have a shelf life in excess of 12 months. However, as with any essential oil we recommend using it within 12 months of opening
