Gavin –
This is a rose and oud combo fragrance. I struggle to find notes to talk about in this one since its well mixed. I will say that its not that rosey and not that oudy so neither one stands out if that worries you. There is a cashmere-like scent that runs through it which classes the scent up. Nicely blended and intruiging.

A fruit and musky take on the Oud and Rose combo. I wore this thinking it would be the same experience as the other Rose/ Oud offerings from Al Sunnah- namely, JM Velvet Rose and Oud, Rose D’Arabie but was pleasantly surprised. This starts off with a sharp and distinct blackberry opening which is very polarising. If you dislike tart or sour notes this may put you off as it lasts a long time throughout the wear of the fragrance. You also get the rose in the opening too and it takes a short while before you detect Oud, which is quite subdued. The dry down is where it’s at with this- you get a very well rounded dry down which has a Musky/Ambery feel to it as opposed to a straight up oudy feel. In the air this stuff smells very pleasant- add to that the price and that’s why I feel it deserves 5 stars. Buy if you like fruity/musky fragrances.
