Ive already left a review for this I think twice now but somehow its not here. This is a definite must try or at least sample. The original gets fairly wishy-washy reviews because of its supposed trying to be too many different popular male fragrances in one, mainly Jean Paul Gautier, yet not really succeeding at bring anything new – that and the fact that its supposedly weak too. This is a sophisticated semi-dry woods and amber scent with elements of ‘clean’ notes. Ive never tried the original but this to me smells really good. It definitely smells unique yet in a subtle understated way. There is strong element of JPG but this is totally different. If you like JPG but wished it had more woody thickness and mossy notes to it (perhaps oakmoss) then youll like this one – and it last ages.

A very nice fragrance . A pineapple opening followed by musk, moss , and woody note’s drydown with a hint of amber. A bit like al rehab al fares or ck eternity in the drydown, good longevity and moderate projection. Absolutely nothing like le male like gavin is mentioning. The note’s are completely different in the two original fragrance’s and this oil is miles away from le male.

Just to clarify a few things. Firstly definately NO pineapple. This is a clean asian woody scent. No Aventus alternatives here. Nothing like Al Fares in any way or form, which a rich fresh soapy scent that is a semi-clone of Polo Sport. This fragrance IS similar to JPG in the sense that it has that dried out airy asian woody quality, however like I said straight after, it is also “TOTALLY DIFFERENT”. Woodier, thicker (darker), mossier… please put your glasses on Neil. NOT light and pheramone-like like JPG, but sharing that key woody note/accord, the same asian heart/theme but done very differently.

Very clean and fresh masculine scent. Not sure exactly how to describe the individual notes but this is a very safe inoffensive one and easy to wear.
