The producer advises that Javanese Turmeric Co2 is a beneficial ingredient in skin care formulations due to its ability to soothe dry, irritated or chapped skin. Skin conditions of acne, eczema, and psoriasis benefit from the soothing and antimicrobial activity of Javanese Turmeric Co2. It may also be used in oral care products because of the antimicrobial efficacy especially against streptococcus mutans.
Because this Javanese Turmeric Co2 Select extract contains 95% essential oil with volatile constituents consisting of ar-curcumene, ß-curcumene and xanthorrhizol (Hydroxy-ar-Curcumene), it may be used in anti-inflammatory blends for muscular and joint aches and pains such as arthritic conditions.
